ABOUT US

Appalachian Flooring ltd. began operations in 2001 with the opening of its flooring plant in Cowansville, Québec. This plant was expanded in 2004 with the opening of our onsite prefinishing plant. This allowed us to develop our signature Evershine™ finish which was launched in 2006. In 2007 we continued our targeted expansion policy by building our state-of-the-art kilns. During the end of 2009 and start of 2010 Appalachian expanded once again investing in automating portions of the process to improve the quality of the flooring installed in your home. These steps have allowed us to greater control over the quality of our end product.

We believe that a superior product starts with quality people and materials. Our experienced staff selects planks from the finest choice-grade hardwoods available to make your floor. Principles such as continuous improvement and a drive for perfection allow us to provide every customer with the high quality floor that they deserve. That is why we manufacture your hardwood floor using state of the art machinery and apply strict quality control measures. Thanks to these principles, the name Appalachian Flooring has become synonymous with excellent quality and fine Canadian Craftsmanship. 

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

We take pride in being environmentally conscious. Therefore our manufacturing process is designed to minimize production waste. Additionally, we transform our wood residue into energy which is used to kiln dry our green lumber. These are only a few examples of our ethical manufacturing practices and of how we proactively work to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment.
