Contech Award

Appalachian Flooring's half-inch engineered product was the recipient of a ''Coup de Coeur'' award at Montreal's Contech Tradeshow. Our product was chosen among those of 250 exhibitors by a professional panel including architects, engineers, general contractors and building managers. Our engineered product was selected for its technical capabilities as well as for being an environmentally conscious flooring choice that can contribute significantly to LEED certified projects.

Engineered Flooring

Appalachian flooring is now offering a premium engineered flooring line. Our new engineered lineup includes Hard Maple, Jatoba, Red and White Oak, Walnut and Tigerwood prefinished flooring. Appalachian engineered flooring is a 4’’ wide product that is available in a 5/8'' and a 1/2'' thickness and is available in long random length planks.

Lacey Act

We would like to announce that Appalachian Flooring is in full compliance with the Lacey Act.

New Automated Chop Saws & Scanner - January 2010

Appalachian flooring has improved its operations by installing automated chop saws and scanners to improve the quality and consistency of the flooring being delivered to your home.

New Kilns

Appalachian Flooring is proud to announce the beginning of its Kiln-drying operations in June of 2007. Eight 75,000 board foot kilns are now in continuous operation.

Planting Time - April 2009

Appalachian Flooring is proud to welcome spring with the planting of 3000 White Spruce trees along the property line. President Jean Leduc and local volunteers spent their Saturday having a great time doing this project and their part for the environment.
